SOURCE: FNN.co.kr After the smashing hit ‘Again & Again’, the boys continue raising their fame with their latest single, ‘I Hate You’ which once again has stirred up the heart of their fans.
2PM members; Jaebum(23), Junsu(22), Nichkhun(22), Taec(22), Wooyoung(21), Junho(20), Chansung(20).
On June 12th, their performance of the new song was broadcasted on TV for the first time. I noticed that their fans were showing enthusiasm with various placards as soon as I walked into the Music Bank studio. The rehearsal started, after “Again & Again”, the other one charismatic performance was followed. 2PM yelled out, “I hate you”, but their fans responded back with “I like you” instead.

#. After recording, we met 2PM members in the waiting room. They all wore smoky eyes make-up with funky hairdo, black & white refined clothes and accessories which expressed the boys’ masculine characters.
This song’s concept focuses on funky and hip-hop styles. It’s very charismatic on the beginning part and up-tempo beats get in on the rest of the song. We use these accessories which go with the flow of music. (Chansung)
In fact, “I Hate You” would’ve been hidden behind and never get to see the light. Due to the popularity of “Again & Again”, they felt it was a waste of talent so they decided to promote it on the stage.
Because of that we had only 3 days to learn the choreography before showing to fans. I only had one day to learn after all the schedules in Thailand. I’d got to practice the dance moves after all schedules were over. (Nichkhun)
#. I was a temporary reporter only for that day but I also have questions about their love life. In fact Nichkhun and Jaeboem’s dreamed girls are the girl like Yuna Kim, a famous young Korean figure skater.
“I prefer charming girl to pretty girl, a girl who is pretty without make-up. I like younger girl rather than older ones because they are more easily to deal with, Jaebeom said.
Junsu said, “I prefer clever lady who can make decisions on many things like my mom.”

#. They became college students after debut. Due to hectic schedules, they don’t have time with their friends at school. I feel pity for them because they have to focus on works in such a young age.It is fun attending school every now and then while working in the entertainment industry. I just have to ask my friends about testing material the day before the test. (Junsu)
Although they don’t have time to hang out with their friends, couple of 2PM members gather together to watch movie. Taecyeon was showing off about the fact he just watched movie Angels & Demons.
# 2PM consists of 7 members. They are 2nd largest group after Super Junior. The more members there are, the more conflicts among them would be raised. Wouldn’t they feel one member gets all the focus of people? And they perhaps get jealous.
We are way over that because it has been decided who gets the most focus. (LOL)
Normally, popularity is different depending on which country Idols visit. (Cool Junho points out)
But wherever we go, Nichkhun is the most popular member.
They have all different personality and characters but when performing, they show coordinated true charisma on the stage as one. They spent long time as trainees, we then curious about their future plans.
“We think that this is the beginning of our infinite dream. There are acting, public shows which we can appear and be loved by fans. However we believe that now it’s time for us to focus on music. We want “I Hate You” to be loved more than “Again & Again”. We are not too hopeful, are we? (smilling)

Focus newspaper subscriber meets up with 2pm members.
Our heart was beating just thinking about meeting up with 2PM members. When we arrived at The Music Bank Studio, we knocked on the 2PM’s waiting room door. Smoky make-up seemed to make them hard to approach, but as we continued on our conversation, 2PM was nothing but pure young guys.
Among the members, they have been spending long time in training and feeling hopeless and fearful. Their passions don’t just come out of place. It comes from a long period of time of their tough practices and hard works. And because of that, we believe they will stand for a long time in Korean music industry. We believe they will be persistent with their hard working effort and continue to make fans’ ears and eyes happy.
