On 22 August, at the “Channel V Music Video Awards 2009″ held at Bangkok, Thailand, TVXQ was voted the most popular artist in Asia.

In the category of “Popular Asian Artist”, they won over Super Junior and SHINee, who are from the same company, as well as Big Bang and Wonder Girls, and got the first place with 48% of the votes.

In this case, this is the second time that TVXQ got this award, the first time during 2006. Since the Awards was not held during 2007 and 2008, it can be said that they got this award two consecutive times.
