Preparations are well under way as 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung make their way back to their MC positions in SBS's Inkigayo. After their withdrawal on September 20th, the two will make their comeback with MC Ha Yeonju.

A JYPE representative has stated that no other schedules besides Inkigayo has been planned as of yet. He stated "Inkigayo is a program that we promised to the viewers and fans so we allowed for the two to return as MC's out of responsibility. Currently, we are not planning any more schedules or appearances for the other members."

Taecyeon & Wooyoung, Return as MC's on 18th

2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung will return to SBS Inkigayo. On the 15th, an Inkigayo representative stated that starting from the show airing on the 18th, the two will return as MC's with Ha Yeonju.

He has stated "Their agency, JYPE, has expressed a desire to further delay their come back as MC's but Inkigayo has aggressively pursued and wanted their return."

After 2PM Jaebum's leave, Taecyeon and Wooyoung took an absence from their MC duties on the 20th while Inkigayo kept MC Ha Yeonju and rotated with various guests.

The term #wooyoungscheeks has risen into the list of Twitter's most talked about topics at 8:30 AM GMT.

Jang Wooyoung is a member of South Korean boy band, 2PM. Fans are posting comments about the 20 year old singer with "beautiful cheeks" ranging from, "#WooyoungsCheeks are soo cute!! But careful ---- inside, there's poison!" to "#wooyoungscheeks are the talk of the town, and by town, i mean twitter."

The trend was started by 2PM fans in a bid to cheer themselves up after the recent departure of fellow band member and vocalist Park Jaebeom. Jaebeom left the band on September 8.

A large majority of Twitter users also seem to be abusing the term, using it to post spam tweets that contain nothing but "Wooyoungscheeks" repeated over and over again.

this is not for the hope concert. well, it COULD be but there is no proof saying that it is. in the post the khottest made, she said that it's a "haeng-sa" which is kind of one of those not-big-of-a-deal-with-crazy-media-coverage performances. celebs do this a lot in cities other than seoul. 2pm's ulsan performance is an example of a haeng-sa. 2pm's performance at a wedding is an example of a haeng-sa. 2pm's performances at univeresities are considered haeng-sas. is this helping..? i dont know the exact translation of haeng-sa so im just trying to give you guys an idea of what it is.

KBS 2TV's sports variety show 'Dream Team Season 2's MC Lee Changmyung has recently expressed feelings of disappointment in not being able to continue the show with 2PM's Junho.



Junho was able to join Dream Team 2's pilot episode after the show's 5 year break and gave an amazing performance with Shinee's Minho. Unfortunately, soon after the Jaebum incident exploded, the entire 2PM team halted their activities, making it harder for them to be seen on variety shows.

The PD, Jun Jinhak, has also expressed disappointment and has even furthered his discussions with 2PM's agency, JYPE, in an effort to estimate Junho's absence.

On the 15th at the 'KBS Fall Meeting,' Lee Changmyung stated "Junho was with us for our pilot episode and he's such a unique friend to me. I'm upset over not being able to continue this show with him. In order for any show to be a success, the teamwork between the participants and the staff is most important. I sincerely hope that the members will not continue to change and that we will solidify our team for the success of this show."

Hottests in Montreal released their official flash mob video today and it does not disappoint!

With most flash mobs around the globe performing to 2PM's 2009 hit song "Again and Again", Montreal decided to switch things up a bit and they performed to 2PM's debut song "10 Points out of 10". I was a bit worried when I saw that they performed to this since there is a lot of bboying involved in the choreography (Jaebum's strength). But man, was I wrong. Check out the video!

Through many of the popular slangs describing the modern man, one of the most popular term is 'Beast.'

Drawing the character of a rough and violent action drama, 'Busan' will reach the hearts of fans loving the beastly image in theatres across the nation on the 15th. Popular drama 'Sunduk Yeowang' and 'Swallow the Sun' also feature their own beastly characters modeled after the beast representatives.

Before they stood on stage the 6 members put their hands in one place and as if they were emphasizing their resolve they looked into each others eyes. Though they smiled with great effort, their faces became stiff quickly. As much as it was an eagerly awaited stage, it seems that the news was received that fans rejected it. And so 2PM, with Jaebum’s leave, stood on stage after 35 days. Within the anxiety and anticipation, on the 10th, through the <2009> 2PM made a comeback(?) stage, and we tried to capture the atmosphere of the backstage.



Their faces moments before they went on stage were tragic. They were not able to easily hide their nervous faces. It even seemed like newcomers preparing for their first stage.

Their order was the last stage of the first part. The members getting their mics ready, waiting with ‘silence’ for their turns. Wooyoung and Junho kept taking deep breaths. Taecyeon in the least looked leisurely (relaxed) as he, with every detail, stood (have been standing) on stage with Baek Jiyoung in rap featurings. As they moved their heavy steps, one staff shouted a cheer towards them. As this staff was about to yell something, they suddenly put on a depressed expression. It was the shape that nothing particular came to mind to say. He (the staff) awkwardly clapped loudly.

The music of flowed out and the members began to squirm around on stage. As expected Jaebum’s space was big. It looked as though something was lacking. Maybe because they were nervous that their bodies also seemed heavy. Nickhun’s vocals were insecure and Junho’s steps were a bit slow. It seemed as though they were trying to grasp the center of Taecyeon who received the loudest cheers. It looked as though the 6 members were purposefully moving to mend the space where Jaebum was missing. There was no image of Jaebum grasping his head with his study arm muscles. And the song was over.


The 2PM members we met in front of the waiting room seemed bright than we thought. They shared their regards with the people and colleague singers that they had not seen in a long time. Sometimes they also posed with some fans who wanted to take pictures. And some members also said their hellos first to the reporters. The members’ expressions were bright but their words were careful. No long conversations were held.

Soon an awkward silence flowed as they headed for the waiting room. It seemed the members were saving the things they wanted to say. And liked those who listened, the staff on stage, there was nothing to say to them. In the short conversations, not talking about (that) one person was a common rule. The members and their acquaintances did not say the word of ‘Park Jaebum’ out loud to each other. And as if they were being restricted, they only exchanged regards carefully. Even though a month has passed, it was a moment where the sensitivity of the ‘Jaebum situation’ was reconfirmed.

This was continued on stage. During the song, Jaebum's name came out once. It was from Taecyeon who was in charge of rapping as in the end, he shouted Jaebum's name. The staff who were back stage all met eyes in that instant. It seemed that a staff overlapped their arms in a ‘x’ shape to another staff to reassure them (each other). Their mouth shape was saying ‘not broadcasting’. Whether they knew of the situation backstage or not, the repeated cries of ‘Park Jaebum’ from the guest seats echoed into the autumn night sky and was spreading.


The expressions of the members coming down from the stage were bright. It was a reassuring image as if their wounded digestion went down. As soon as they came down from stage Junsu released a smile he had been holding in towards the company camcorder. Even so it seemed the members’ thoughts were complicated, and it showed on their faces. It was because of the circumstance that they could not be satisfied that they had completed a stage safely in a long time. The worry of whether they would be able to stand on another stage skimmed their faces.

There were colleagues waiting for them outside in the waiting room hallway. The most warmly received was their ‘brother group’ 2AM. They spent some time for a short celebration(?) and exchange of regards. But the members who just came down from the stage, as if their nervousness was suddenly releasing their faces, were filled with fatigue. And they changed their clothes and as if they were running away from the event they slipped out. Without much of a goodbye, they left desolated.

There is friction between the fandom and the company about their alternate thoughts laid down about the promotion plans. Both parties are correlating if it is for Jaebum and the 6 members. This was the day when the loudness was at its highest peak. In the real performance the main characters, the members were in a situation where they could only upkeep the ‘silence’ being forced on by both sides. 2PM who stood on stage in 35 days, leaving behind another piece of homework, they promise another stage with an unknown time.

The boys of 2PM performed their hit songs at the Dream Concert this year and at the end of the performance of “I Hate You,” Taec screamed, “Jaebeom!” Not very exciting, but still newsworthy because it’s the first time Taec has voiced anything about the Jay controversy. 2PM is just not right without Jay, and I would say that if any other group members left because anytime you take out a core member of a group, the product will be a mess and that’s what this performance was. There’s just this huge empty space and it just doesn’t flow like it used to. Sad.

[SPN Park Mi Ae reporter] Fans are continuing to volunteer for Park Jae Bum, member who has left the group 2PM.

On the 10th, 2PM "UNDERGROUND" will be opening a bazaar for "Beautiful Day" and "Beautiful Store".

Fans have been bringing estimated 6000 items to sell and raise money for this charity. 20 volunteers will help out in this event.

A 6 member-ed 2PM has performed for the first time without leader Park Jae Bum and has been gaining lots of attention.

UNDERGROUND said " On the 10th of October, we said we would boycott 2PM at the "Dream Concert." Without giving support to the "Dream Concert" We will give our best effort for "Beautiful day."

Fans have collected ₩ 10,000,000 and donated it to children' charity and 500 Million Won to adoptees. Fans will outreach the charity activities.

Hottest's all around the world are One for this. Remember the Malaysian Hottest's Flash Mob A few weeks ago? Now its New York Hottest's turn for their Flash Mob. They were very dedicated in this and wanted no less than a stellar flash mob performance. Fans practiced and rehearsed before the actual flash mob to perfect the moves and be ready for their public performance.



They performed 10 out of 10 by 2pm and they made sure they had every single detail from the music video to their performance. They also had their own version of 2pm with 7 fans with each members name written on the back of their shirts.

The flash mob sure did attract a lot of audiences cause while they did their thing passerby's stopped and watched them perform. Im pretty sure the New York hottest's enjoyed themselves on this, it just goes to show how dedicated they are and how much they love 2pm and Jaebeom.

After the Jaebeom myspace incident which made him to leave and go home to Seattle, Hottest's all over the world have been showing not only Jaebeom but 2pm, JYP and the whole world that what they feel is true and all they want is for the leadja of 2pm to come back to his family in korea.

Inkigayo PD states "Taecyeon and Wooyoung, their return as MC's might be delayed"

After 2PM's Taecyeon and Wooyoung left the spots of SBS 'Inkigayo's MCs, their promised return might be later than expected.

Due to their leader's unexpected leave last month, they left their 'Inkigayo' MCing duties due to their company's demands.

Although it has been reported that they will return after Chuseok, it is expected that their empty schedules will be prolonged.

'Inkigayo' PD Park Sunghoon stated on the 11th "Their return will be delayed but our staff is waiting with hope that their company will allow for their return. Unfortunately, JYPE has expressed statements regarding a longer delay in their return."

Regarding 'Inkigayo,' it will return on its regular schedule on the 18th after the Dream Concert and Chuseok activities have finished.

Park PD went on to say "We have a lot more free time until the 18th so we will continue to discuss the two mc's return with their company."




I really hope they will return as soon as possible . I miss seeing them MC-ing 'Inkigayo' . We shall wait for their returns on the music show .

I found this at 2oneday and this is what one of the hottest spotted . A fancam did a close up on the boys for their I Hate You performance at Dream Concert.

During Chansung's part in the beginning, the fan who recorded the video did a close up on the other five.





As you can see here, Junho raises his right hand and points out one finger.
Then, the camera focused on Taecyeon and Junsu.




Notice how Taecyeon made a four with his fingers and Junsu points a two? Junho: 1, Taec: 4, Junsu: 2. All adds up to SEVEN!

"I'm not really sure if this is their dance steps, my intuition is telling me they're definitely not, but I thought this move is too important to let it pass. Hope this IS another hint from the boys to Hottests."

With 2PM performing at the Dream Concert with only 6 members, K-Hottests joined together and created a glow-in-the-dark banner in support of the one and only leadja of 2PM, Jaebum. Also, outside the venue, K-Hottests put up a balloon banner that contained a slightly more complicated message.

K-Hottests continued to show their support for Jaebum at the Dream Concert with a glow-in-the-dark banner that said "We will wait for our Leadja Park Jaebum". This was the only banner that was visible during the concert in the dark (well, I guess you can kind of see a T-Ara banner. Can you guys spot it?) and it was the only glow-in-the-dark at the venue. People commented saying that the banner must have cost a lot of many but a K-Hottest replied saying "Banners are usually expensive but this was totally worth it!" Check out the banner below! It's pretty legit!

Belle over at 2ONEDAY has explained the meaning of this message. She states that:

"The one above is a reference to Drunken Tiger's "Monster". In Drunken Tiger's "Monster", there is a repetitive phrase"bal-lah-buh-ryho". It means "spread it up" literally, but it in this context it means "put it up". The tone of this phrase is aggressive, but the meaning is not vulgar nor offensive.

The banner says "6PM put it up" in the bigger font and the smaller font in between. When you connect the big fonts and small fonts, it's "put up ointment on the scar of 6pm without Jaebum".

It's nice to see that K-Hottests are coming together and showing their continued support for Jaebum. I hope Jaebum and JYPE sees how much us Hottests miss the leadja and both Jaebum and JYPE change their minds and decisions and have Jaebum return. Wishful thinking ya?
