Lee Hyun has been selected to sing the final song “30 Minutes Ago” of composer Bang Si-hyuk’s “Goodbye Series“.

So what’s all the hype about? Well, Bang Si-hyuk is none other than the hit ballad composer of Baek Ji-young’s “Like Being Hit By A Bullet” and 8Eight’s “Without A Heart“. Previously, many artists including 2AM, Super Junior’s Eun-hyuk and Lee Hyun himself had publicly announced that they were interested in singing the last song of the “Goodbye Series”. Even fans of all artists, bombarded the composer’s Cyworld homepage asking that the song be given to their idol.

Now it looks like Lee Hyun beat out the competititon and won over Bang Si-hyuk’s heart. The producer himself, stated,

“As a composer, I wanted to find someone that would best suit the song and that person happened to be Lee Hyun. After recording the song with Lee Hyun, I feel that I’ve made the perfect decision. When you listen to the last chorus, you realize why nobody but Lee Hyun is the perfect match.”

“30 Minutes Ago” will officially be released on and off-line, this coming September 8th.
