[news] GDragon’s Future Broadcast Activities Will Go On As Usual

Amidst the plagiarism saga that Big Bang GDragon is going through, many are concerned about his future broadcast activities.

GDragon’s debut solo ‘Heartbreaker’ has been accused of plagiarism for having a portion of 5 seconds to the song sounding similar to singer Flo Rida’s ‘Right Round’. Following that, Sony ATV has issued a warning to YG Ent on 21st September regarding the plagiarism of the song.

But YG Entertainment said, “GDragon’s schedule will go on as usual. He will appear on stage in the day and continue to write music at night.”

GDragon gives off a special type of charisma as a singer on stage but offstage he is just another youth in his 20s.

But in this incident of plagiarism accusations, this singer is in the centre of all accusation arrows. It is not important if he plagiarised or not. Before the conclusion on whether it was plagiarism is set, netizens should spare this singer some of their malicious judgement and comments.

So let me get this staright. He's being accused for the first 5 seconds of his song, so far one company has stated that its not plagiariazed, but sony have stated that it may be plagiarized so they sent it to the producing company in America, and they are waiting on a hearing. America is greedy, they might just rule it as "plagiarized" just to get some money and they will get alot, considering HeartBreaker made it big. Plagiarized or not, I love HeartBreaker, I love GD, I love YG, and that will never change.

I hope they will judge it fairly. I love GD no matter what...as a matter of fact, I love him even more now. I have faith in his talent, and I hope that they don't ban his songs, because that will be very sad...I might just stop listening to kpop.

Stop blaming it on G-Dragon; he didn't compose this song. It's not his fault.

GD composed and produced Heartbreaker! That's why it's a big issue. It's not this song...YG is accused of 4 songs!

OMG, two companies can't even agree if it has elements of plagiarization or not, clearly people have different opinions, even music critics. I support GD all the way <3<3
