After fighting against gastric cancer, actress Jang Jin Young passed away on September 1st and mourners lined up to express their condolences. Jang Jin Young’s body was moved yesterday afternoon at 5:57 to a mortuary at Seoul Asan Medical Center in Pungnapdong.

Presently at Seoul Asan Medical Center’s mortuary, colleagues like Lee Byung Hun, Song Hye Kyo, Song Yoon Ah, Kim Seuk Hoon, Kim Min Jong, Ahn Jae Wook, Chat Tae Hyun, Um Ji Won, Um Jung Hwa, Han Jae Suk, Hwang Jung Min, Jung Joon Jo, Kim Ah Joong, Yoo Sun, Han Jin Min, Lee Jung Jae, etc. are steadily arriving to pay their respects.

In particular, Song Hye Kyo who is proud of her deep friendship with the late Jang Jin Young was so in grief on this day that she appeared to have no soul. For Song Hye Kyo, the late Jang Jin Young’s passing had a constant impact.
Throughout the wake, she did not stop crying nor could she keep herself steady and had to get support to hold herself up. The twosome appeared together in the SBS sitcom SoonPoong resulting in a close friendship.

In the meantime, Jang Jin Young’s funeral will take place on September 4th.
