[news] Did G-Dragon steal his look too?

The accusations just keep rolling in.

Earlier this week, accusations of G-Dragon’s plagiarism ran rampant. Netizens accused the singer of sampling heavily from Western beats based on previews that the singer released via his me2day. Most notably, controversy surrounding his title track “Heartbreaker” caused industry big wigs to step in and assess the situation.

Recently, it seems many are doubting the singer’s new look as well. Observant netizens have recently pointed out similarities between G-Dragon’s “Heartbreaker” concept photos and those from Lee Jun-ki’s “JStyle” album photoshoot, which were taken earlier this year. Between bleached hair, smoky eye makeup and vacant stares, both photos do actually look eerily similar.

If that wasn’t enough, G-Dragon’s new album cover is also being accused of looking a bit too much like the cover of English space rock band Spiritualized’s 2001 release “Let it Come Down”.

So, do you think G-Dragon is getting too much inspiration from other artists or do netizens just have it out for singer?

i think people need to back off this poor feller a bit. i'm not even a fan of this guy but i keep seeing these reports, i can't help but feel sorry for the poor boy.
I me really your telling me that with all the new girl groups out there are NO similarities between those groups?
people just like to take things to far sometimes. If they like his song ain't got a problem with his look, then back off and enjoy all the hard work i'm sure he put into for you.

tash i agree with you... like seriously give him a break... and everyone copies one another... same thing goes with dancing and different art forms... its just depends on how much one copies and how much people point it out...

I agree. People should give GD a break. Taking inspiration from other artists is not bad. He did not really copy them as is, he gave it his own touch.
