SNSD's Sooyoung beat tough competition and took the challenge of ballroom dancing.

Sooyoung revealed her Waltz and Vienna Waltz skills on KBS 2TV Thanksgiving Special, "Shall We Dance", which aired on October 2nd.

Sooyoung said, "I made it through tough competition" and "the members were telling each other that they'd come out." Sooyoung was only able to practice 5 times because of her busy schedule, but despite that, she showed her great dancing skill.

She showed an elegant swan-like lift move. Her partner Yoo Donghyun said, "I want to eat a meal with SNSD once" and in response, Sooyoung said, "if we win, we will gladly do so."

On this day, Kara's Han Seungyeon, Shinee's Minho, Kim Taewoo, Park Jaejung, Jewelry's Seo Inyoung, Kyun Miri, Kim Shinyoung, Park Sohyeon, and more celebrities showed off their ballroom dancing on the show after practicing hard.

SooYoung debuted through the 9 member girl group, Girls Generation. However, SooYoung’s sister will be debuting through a musical.

After the news that Jessica’s sister will be in the new SM girl group called f(X), SooYoung’s sister news came along as well. According to a close aquaintence of SooYoung’s sister, Choi SooJin, had said that SooJin got the main woman role of Gloria in the upcoming musical “SalInMa Jack.”

This will be her first time that she will be performing in a musical. For many of you, this might be the second time seeing SooJin. On Febuary she appeared on ”Meet A Star’s Friend.” She caused alot of attention due to her white skin, long wavy hair, and a beauty that was better than some stars. Before, she had been “Ulzzang” (aka. Cute, Best Looking) in an Internet cafe as well.

This musical “SalInMa Jack” is also supposed to be the returning musical project for Ahn JaeWook in 11 years.

SNSD's Yoona shared her honest thoughts about her acting.

On the coming 17th's broadcast on SBS's Yashimmanman 2", after receiving a question about her acting, she confessed "Even when I look at it, there's many times when it's awkward".

In the recording, Yoona objectively gave her opinion on her acting skills and talked about situations that gave no option but to reveal her insufficiencies in acting.

Yoona also gave her desire to work harder in her acting in the future, sharing that "There are many times that I was hurt because of prejudices about singers who decide to become actors," showing the hurt she felt during that time.

On KBS2TV's 'Yoo Hwiyul's Sketchbook' on July 31, Yoo Hwiyul asked SNSD's Sooyoung an individual question and she grabbed the attention of the crowd with a pure answer characteristic of a twenty-year-old.

After SNSD's 'Tell Me Your Wish' performance, Yoo Hwiyul asked what '1 Night 2 Days' member she would want to go on a trip with. Sooyoung responded by saying, "Umm... Lee Seunggi," which elicited a complaint from the audience. The crowd burst into laughter after a passionate fan shouted, "No, you can’t!”

When it came time for Jessica's question, the audience shouted, "naengmyun," and she responded by singing the song 'Naengmyun.'

Yamaguchi, whose wish is to marry a Korean woman, appeared on Star King and took the stage. In slow Korean, he said "Korean woman pretty, please marry me. I want to follow the singer Kim Jung Min who married a Japanese woman, so I ate wasabi and practiced my singing." For his performance, Yamaguchi turned Girls' Generation's 'Tell Me Your Wish' into a Kim Jung Min rock version. I do like how the second to last screenshot shows a speech bubble of Soo Young saying "How many carats..?" It's even funnier because she actually looks like she's considering it, but I guess the rock wasn't big enough.

So Nyeo Shi Dae Jessica has revealed that she wished she could sleep enough.

She was on KBS Star Golden Bell when she said, “Usually we get insufficient sleep. If there is a medicine that can bring the effect of 10 hours of sleep with just 1 hour of sleep it would be great.”

Fellow member YuRi added, “Jessica is one who can’t wake up in the morning. She said if there is something to bring the effect of waking her up 5 times when you wake her up 1 time, it would be great” causing laughter in the filming set.

Also Sunny said, “I’m the shortest in terms of height amongst the So Nyeo Shi Dae members. It would be great if I can grow taller.”

Meanwhile on the show, YounHa also revealed, “Soo Young has to raise 3 fingers when she hold the mic.” SooYoung revealed, “I cannot focus on my dance steps if I don’t raise up 3 fingers.”

SNSD Sooyoung made remarks that she is not fond of guys like Nickhun who have white faces.

On MBC 'Fantastic Duo' that aired on the 7th, Kim Jaedong asked Nickhun "What do you think of Sooyoung if she was your girlfriend?"
