Having a hard time coping with the fact that their leader JaeBum has left the group, 2PM members TaekYeon and WooYoung have left their MC roles on SBS Inkigayo.

With their last appearance as MCs on the show on 13th September, Park SeongHoon PD of Inkigayo said in a phone interview,”It is not in the production team’s decision to replace the MCs. Even though we did discuss with JYP about it, we have wanted TaekYeon and WooYoung to be MCs on the show.”

ty_wy_130909_2Park PD said, “In any case, our production team wishes the best for the 2 MCs. Even though they are the members of 2PM, to us they are individually Ok TaekYeon and Jang WooYoung, it is such a shame that they will not be MCing anymore. The 2 of them are doing very well and wish to continue MCing, but since there may be public opinion about their appearance as MCs on the show, there is no guarantee to it.”

The PD also said, “It is very praise-worthy of them today. They did not mentioned anything, they keep their greetings short like usual. The 2 of them did not think about this as really their last MC appearance.”

With that, Inkigayo production team also put up a notice on their homepage, “There have been changes in just one day, there have been some problems faced by the MCs, and even though we are sorry that we can’t give any promises, we genuinely wish the best for all members of 2PM that they do not receive any hurt and in whatever decisions that TaekYeon and WooYoung may make, we will protect them.”

Congratulations to KARA!!! The girl group won their first Mutizen award for their song, 'Wanna' on SBS Inkigayo just 1 month into their comeback!!!

5 singer groups – FT Island, KARA and others will be filming a video for SBS Inkigayo for an awareness campaign of the use of public transportation.

This campaign is also called ‘Blue Sky, Clear City together with Public Transportation’. An FT Island version of the campaign video will be shown on 30th August first, followed by KARA’s on 6th September. And the videos by other singers will be shown each week on the show until 27th September.

For FT Island’s version of the campaign video, the boys will be shown taking the 9th line on the subway singing to the campaign song. While KARA members will be shown taking the public transportation bus.

Oher singers involved for this campaign are Baek Ji Young and ShinDong.

2PM will be putting up a perfect reappearance performance of some of the greatest singers of all time.

On SBS Inkigayo to be aire on 16th August, they will be performing hits by Seo TaiJi and the Boys, Park Jin Young, Rain and Fin.K.L.

2PM will be appering for ‘Idol Special’ on SBS Inkigayo even though they have officially end their promotions for their minialbum previously on 19th July. 2PM will be appearing with different concepts of the different singers with different costumes.

They will be performing Seo Taiji and Boys’ ‘환상 속의 그대 (You in fantasy)’, sexy performance of Park Jin Young’s ‘KISS’, dance performance of Rain’s ‘Bad Guy’. Also they will be taking a 360 degrees transformation performing Fin.K.L’s ‘Forever love’.

This will be a great chance for fans to meet them since they have been taking a break off the Kpop scene for a while.

KARA will be challenging themselves to performing beasty idol group 2PM’s hit song ‘Again & Again’.

They will be performing it for ‘Idol Special’ on SBS Inkigayo to be aired on 16th August. The song is a upbeat dance song which won triple crown on Inkigayo for the month of May.

Also for this special performance, KARA will be using the stage set which 2PM used for their comeback stage on Inkigayo on 26th April.

Much anticipation as to how the KARA girls will pull off the performance.

The members from the different girlgroups will come together for a dance battle.

Members from the 4 female groups will come together for a hot dance battle on SBS Inkigayo on 16th August.

The members are Nicole from KARA, GaIn from Brown Eyed Girls, HyunA from 4Minute and MinJi from 2NE1.

They will show off their sexiness and charms through their individual dance performances.

Who will emerge victory for the dance battle? The members are currently practising for the dance battle. Much anticipation and curiosity as to what songs they will dance to for the dance battle.
