The singer Bada, who recently released a new single, was featured on on today's broadcast of "MBC's World-Changing Quiz" and admitted that she had been arrested during her S.E.S days!

The previous S.E.S leader revealed, "While I was practicing singing in my dorm during my S.E.S days, my neighbors called the police on me and I was taken to the police station." She also said, "I sang so loudly that the other members of S.E.S couldn't even sleep." and also admitted that she had been reported and taken to the police office many times because she "disturbed the peace". So she was a "Mad" girl back then too, huh?

Bada mentioned, during the period of recording her 4th official album when an article about 2PM’s Taecyeon’s participation as a featured artist in the song ‘Yes I’m in Love’ came out she thought there would be comments of terrorism so she clicked on it cautiously. However unexpectedly there were none at all! causing laughter to explode.

Following Bada said, “When ‘Taecyeon’ came to the recording studio for the first time it seemed like he was uncomfortable because he viewed me as his senior singer who has been around since the SES days. So in order to make him the most comfortable I cracked jokes with him, prepared a star shaped bread and gave it to him but when he actually got into the recording studio he started rapping like a beast, and seeing this I was really surprised” and complimented him.

Additionally when Shin Dong Yup asked ‘Hwayobi’ how she got to officially date ‘Sleepy’ [Untouchable] and she replied at a club then Bada said at the MV filming of MAD there was a part to direct freestyle natural ‘skin ship’ and [since it’s for work, and with a professional work ethic] she was going to do excessive ‘skin ship’ but ‘Untouchable’ member ‘Sleepy’ whispered to her, "Sunbae (senior), I’m a body with an owner so please be gentle!" thus showcasing her ability to make witty comments.

On the other hand at the time of the recording Bada spoke about ‘MC Mong’ and ‘Hwayobi,’ taking the floor with a bombshell. At this MC Mong proclaimed Bada is the female ‘Kim Goo Ra’ expressing in a fun way but during the process of editing it seems like it was regretfully edited out.

Daum’s “music special” sat down with the Super Diva recently about her comeback to the Kpop music scene.

D: It’s been awhile since you’ve had an album release, what does this 4th album mean to you?

B: This album is something that I would call a mixture of modern music with retro pop sounds. It’s taken a long time to prepare this album and consequently it is something that I am both very proud of and comfortable with.

D: What have you been up to for the last 2 years?

B: I’ve been meeting my fans as a musical actress. I also traveled to New York where I became really interested in the modern art that I was exposed to there. I used that as inspiration when brainstorming for my new music video.

D: There is word that you always insist on “live” performances. Is there a reason why you forgo the usual kpop reliance on lip syncing?

B: It’s not necessarily that I insist on always singing live, but I’ve come to realize that my fans really enjoy the live performances. I would like to sing live for as long as my stamina will allow.

D: Do you ever miss the other S.E.S. members as you all are busy with your solo careers?

B: I don’t really miss them since we still hang out all the time. There are times when I am nostalgic about the past. Of course I realize that there are fans out there who would like to see a reunion. I am really proud of both of them as they work hard in their respective solo careers.

D: Everyone (especially girls) are noticing that you are getting prettier every year. Are there any special beauty/fitness secrets that you can share?

B: I am always practicing in front of a full length mirror while singing. It allows me to always check every little thing about my figure while I move and sing. I also love running and hanging upside down?

D: You are returning to your award winning role as “Esmeralda” in “Notre-Dame de Paris”. What does being a musical actress mean to you?

B: Being in a musical is a whole different realm of music for me. The way that there is such an intimate interaction between the audience and the actor on stage is what has such a strong appeal for me. Please come out to support our musical!

He also revealed that he was more comfortable with Bada then Baek Jiyoung. Bada also said, "Well I'm younger than Jiyoung unnie so don't you think that's the reason?"

"You ask me if I'm disappointed if I see Jiyoung unnie and Taecyeon on the same stage? It would be nice to perform on stage with him but my title song is "MAD". I am a little sad and disappointed but I picked Taecyeon to be mine first so it's okay. At first, I started liking him just from listening to his voice, but when I actually started recording with him, I was so surprised he did so well. I can understand why fans like him."

Bada turned on the TV, and by fate, 2PM was performing. She instantly fell for him and contacted JYP and pleaded to have him feature in her song. While recording with Taecyeon, he exceeded Bada's expectations and she began to understand why 2PM is the ultimate trendy popular idol group today.

"Taecyeon is a much younger hoobae but I totally understand why fans like him. How should I say it? He's human. He doesn't pretend like he's someone else. He's so gentle and honest, it might have to do with the fact he's from the US but I appreciated it a lot. A lot of people came to me and praised me that Taecyeon and I sound great, and I think that, too. I made a very important decision. Taecyeon is an idol star that you can't help but love.

Meanwhile, Bada's title song "MAD" from her 4th album "See the Sea" has become very popular for it's "calf mooing" (LOL), and the she has also become very busy by taking part in the musical "Notre Dame de Paris" as taking on the lead role of Esmeralda.

Bada’s probably mad that her new title track, Mad, is accused of being plagiarized.


Apparently, some netizen has posted up on various portal sites that Bada’s new song, Mad, is a rip off of European artist Rozalla’s Everybodys Free. The netizen has pointed out that the part where Bada sing’s, “I’m so mad” just sounds too similar to Rozalla’s song where she sings “Everybodys free”.

Besides that 3 seconds, the rest doesn’t really sound similar in any way. Hmm, can climax and breathing technique be considered plagiarism too?

Ex-S.E.S. leader Bada recently posted some photos on her Cyworld, depicting her and 2PM's "angry rapper" Taecyeon laughing and posing at a recording studio.

Well, it's not like pop idols just take pictures together at recording studios just because they feel like it, right? It's pretty much certain that Bada posted the recording-studio pictures to indicate that Taecyeon is in fact going to feature on her upcoming comeback album. Bada's vocals combined with Taecyeon's husky rapping should make for an interesting combination, and I hope that the two can eventually perform their song on stage. Considering Taec's future position as a co-emcee for SBS Inkigayo, the potential for a live duet is there.
