I’m a 2PM fan because they’re not pretentious or arrogant. They’re idols but they act like your friends and on top of that, the group as a whole is talented. They’re the only group of guys who can draw unibrows and nipples on their faces without caring what the millions of people out there will think of them and yet when they get on stage, they become beast-like idols.

Though we've been concentrating on big names stationed in the homeland with the Dream Concert and inter-group specials, we can't forget the Wonder Girls' promotional activities!

Aside from the occasional quirky video or interview, these ladies have been on the DL lately with preparations for their album, but their so-called lax period is nearing its end. And busy they are - over the last few nights, the girls reunited with the Jonas Brothers in Mohegan Sun, Connecticut (9 - 10th October, three shows total) as special guests. For those of you that are missing the girls' cute dance tutorials and English performances, here are the performances from last night:

The boys of 2PM performed their hit songs at the Dream Concert this year and at the end of the performance of “I Hate You,” Taec screamed, “Jaebeom!” Not very exciting, but still newsworthy because it’s the first time Taec has voiced anything about the Jay controversy. 2PM is just not right without Jay, and I would say that if any other group members left because anytime you take out a core member of a group, the product will be a mess and that’s what this performance was. There’s just this huge empty space and it just doesn’t flow like it used to. Sad.

Hottest's all around the world are One for this. Remember the Malaysian Hottest's Flash Mob A few weeks ago? Now its New York Hottest's turn for their Flash Mob. They were very dedicated in this and wanted no less than a stellar flash mob performance. Fans practiced and rehearsed before the actual flash mob to perfect the moves and be ready for their public performance.



They performed 10 out of 10 by 2pm and they made sure they had every single detail from the music video to their performance. They also had their own version of 2pm with 7 fans with each members name written on the back of their shirts.

The flash mob sure did attract a lot of audiences cause while they did their thing passerby's stopped and watched them perform. Im pretty sure the New York hottest's enjoyed themselves on this, it just goes to show how dedicated they are and how much they love 2pm and Jaebeom.

After the Jaebeom myspace incident which made him to leave and go home to Seattle, Hottest's all over the world have been showing not only Jaebeom but 2pm, JYP and the whole world that what they feel is true and all they want is for the leadja of 2pm to come back to his family in korea.

So I got a random message from Gogole as I was looking into these new global auditions. These auditions are pretty big news right? Most reputable Kpop sites are talkign about this new development and why should I be any different?

I was gong to make a story about the good points and bad points of why you should go to the auditions and become an Asian Pop star. I am going to go over some details that other people may have looked over. Ok, so we have entered starsearch season and everyone wants to be the next big Asian pop star. Here is the question: is it worth it? First of all, you can absolutely kiss your privacy goodbye. You will never be able to walk down the street to get a snack without being groped by hundreads of fans (unless that is what you want). You can never have a date out in public without starting some sort of controversy. You will be all over the tabloids and gossip sites (like this one) with people like me pointing out all that is wrong with you and why you don’t do anything right.

Here is another thing that you need to keep in mind. Your contract will most likely lock you into a long career with a company that works you like a dong and does not pay you that much. If you doubt this you need to look up TVXQ on google news and see what you are missing…




That being said… here are some of the good points. Look at all of the fre clothes that you will get? No matter where you go, attractive people will want to be with you. When you speak… people will hang on to every word. You can start a controversy by postig something on myspace and have it come up 2 years later once you become popular.

So as I was looking into this audition frenzy I went to the JYP Entertainment website and I was given an intetrestign message from google. It appears that they don’t like JYP Entertainment at this point in time. I can’t even acces the site due to the message below. This only works if you get there from google seach results. Take a look.



What was thier reason behind this?

Personally I would rather audition for JYP Entertainment instead of SM entertanment given the court case that they are going through. Although, I will probably go down to the SM Entertainment auditions in Toronto.

Jaebeom do you hear this madness? There were hardly any Hottest at this year’s Dream Concert due to the boycott, but still they’re chanting your name! It’s insane how much this kid is missed and loved in the motherland. The chanting got louder when the boys came out to perform and according to reports, many fan groups got together in support of Jaebeom. How sweet!

Malaysian Hottests have gathered together and organized their own flash mob!

As reported earlier, Hottests from around the globe have gotten together to create a flash mob to show their love and support for Jaebum. 2PM fans have declared total boycott to upcoming Dream Concert, if 2PM is performing with leader Park JaeBum.
2PM fans will be posting up post-its on JYP office building on 10th October during the time when Dream Concert is going on.
Fans have declared that “Without JaeBum, we cannot accept 2PM‘ regarding 2PM’s future activities when JaeBum left the group. They have stick to this belief even when Park Jin Young announced that 2PM will promote as 6 members without JaeBum.

Dream Concert will be the first performing stage for 2PM after JaeBum left as a group of 6 members. Previously, on 25th September, it was planned for the group to perform as 6 members for 2009 Supermodel Contest, but in the end only 2 members JunHo and JunSu performed.

Fans will be “attacking” by posting up post-its at JYP building in Seoul ChungDamDong from 4pm to 8.30pm when Dream Concert is going on on 10th October. For these fans, they only wish for JaeBum to return to the group quickly.
Meanwhile, for the upcoming episode of Star King to be aired on 10th October, filmed on 7th September, 2PM members WooYoung and Nich Khun were featured performing with American NBA Cheerleaders team on the show.

The forum dedicated to 2PM JaeBum has closed down. The forum was set up by Seattle Glory Presbyterian church which JaeBum and his family has been attending.

The forum was originally set up to connect JaeBum with his fans. But on the homepage of the church, a message which writes “The forum ‘To JaeBum’ will be closed down permanently” on 27th September local time.

The church said, “This is the space where fans can write their messages to JaeBum, but bashes and bad comments found their way to this forum. With that, we have closed down the forum.”



The church has been the medium for fans to get to JaeBum, like sending letters and presents after JaeBum left Korea for his hometown Seattle. And the church has set up the forum for fans to connect directly with JaeBum.

But there has been many bashing and bad comments posted on the forum. And the church decided to close it down.

Meanwhile, the church has revealed on 26th September about the fan letters sent to JaeBum in Seattle, “There are many people who were curious about it. Very thankful. This had given (JaeBum) strength and bravery. JaeBum has revealed that he will live in the love and sincerity that everyone has showered on him.”

On the side note, Hottests are happy that the sky banner was a success!

It is known that Seattle Glory Presbyterian church in Seattle has come up with a way for fans to connect with JaeBum.
Seattle Glory Presbyterian church is the church that 2PM former leader member JaeBum attends since he was in elementary school. And the fan letters sent to him in Seattle after he left group 2PM and Korea to return to Seattle were also delivered to JaeBum by pastor Kim ByungKyu.
And on 23rd September a banner and a discussion forum were made on the church’s homepage titled ‘to JaeBum LOVE & RESPECT’.

Previously, on 26th September, pastor Kim ByungKyu revealed JaeBum’s message to fans who have been encouraging and supporting him, he also revealed photos of fan letters sent to JaeBum at the church.
Meanwhile, international fans have came up with a project of a sky banner saying ‘J.What Time Is It Now’ which was flown above Seattle on 28th September at 2pm local time.
Netizens say:
“I hope that people don’t post hurtful messages and let him get hurt again”

JYP's NYC real estate details were recently obtained by the Korean online site, Sports Seoul. Documents reveal that he bought 10 million dollars worth in real estate.





First up is the JYP U.S. office. Purchased in January 2007 for approximately 3.5 million USD, the building is located on East 31st Street in Manhattan. Next, six months later, JYP snapped up a condo worth 1.4 million USD on West 42nd in Manhattan as well. And again in 2008, a co-op, estimated at 3.4 million USD rounded out his U.S. real estate portfolio.

It has been said that 2PM Thai member Nich Khun has joined a support group for withdrawn leader JaeBum.

It was said that Nich Khun joined a group titled ‘Support 2PM leader Park Jaebeom. Park Jaebeom should be forgiven’ on network page FaceBook.

The group has up to 4,862 members on Facebook, and it posted up photos of JaeBum and also updates on the whole process of JaeBum’s MySpace incident all the way till his withdrawal from the group.

Meanwhile, here are some of the news updates about JaeBum and 2PM:
There are much media speculations with whether JaeBum will return to Korea soon. But nothing is confirmed.

2PM fan union UnderGround revealed a 2nd petition on 20th Sep demanding for JYP to release the conditions to the contract that JaeBum has with the company
SBS Inkigayo stated that they are always ready to welcome TaekYeon and WooYoung back on the MC team, and also 2PM’s comeback. Taec and WooYoung’s MC roles have been put on hold since 13th September due to JaeBum’s withdrawal from the group
Meanwhile, JYP recently released a statement on 17th September stating that 2PM will be promoting as 6 members with the withdrawal of JaeBum.

JYP announced that after leader Park Jaebeom's split from 2PM that the group would be continuing with 6 members and is holding true to his promise thus far.

According to their schedule, 2PM's first concert as a 6-member group, dubbed 1:59 PM by some fans, will be at at the 2009 Supermodel Contest, held in Gyeongnam.

Other performers at the event include G-dragon, 2NE1, SNSD / Girls' Generation, Baek Ji Young, Hyunbin, and Wink.

The 2PM boys were scheduled to perform at this event before the Jaebeom situation arose, and there hasn't been an official cancellation from JYPE or anyone else.

If not this event, it is possible that the group will perform at the Dream Concert on October 10th. In response to whether 2PM would still perform at the Dream Concert, it was said that, "Our wanting of 2PM on stage hasn't changed."

Either way, if 2PM shows up at these events or not, the Hottests' call for a holdout on all 2PM activities will be enforced, and netizens have already expressed outrage at the news.

After it was announced that 2PM would continue with 6 members, comments such as "I can't believe it," "Without Jaebeom, attending 2PM activities is impossible," and "JYP's attitude towards the situation is pissing me off," sprung up.

We’ve heard many times before that Jay was pressured to leave 2PM by upper management and here it comes again with the newest post by Jay’s personal friend. I guess the fight has changed from “PLEASE COME BACK” to “PLEASE BRING JAY BACK”.

JYP announced yesterday that Jay doesn’t want to come back due to the guilt that he has towards Korean people and that he’d do anything in his power to bring Jay back when Jay’s ready. Today we have a friend of Jay’s telling us he’s been doing better from the messages and videos from his fans and he does want to come back. So what are you going to do now JYP? And for all we know, was it really a message from JYP or did they just use his name?

It is said that MOST of 2PM members are quietly supporting the boycott. So who aren’t? Could this be a problem in the future when Jay comes back? Would that bring more drama behide the scene for Jay?

I’ve once said the number of the people who signed the petition for Jay to stay isn’t even half the number people signed the petition for him to leave 2PM or commit suicide and that’s a shame. However, we must remember to weigh in the fact that those petitions were online and easily accessed by anybody. Then we look at the number of people who went out and protested in front of JYPE. Fifteen hundred is not a small number. And don’t forget that not all KHottests were there. There’re also other KHottests who lived far away and wished to join but couldn’t. Don’t even get me started on his internation fans. Hottests outnumber antis anyday and anytime. We just need to speak up more and show more support than ever.

Baek Ji Young, who is currently promoting her single "My Ear's Candy" with 2PM's Taecyeon, had some encouraging words to 2PM's leader, Jaebum.
