[News] Why did Leeteuk fail the musical audition?



Super Junior’s leader Leeteuk made heads turn when he revealed the reason why he failed the musical audition he went to.

During the recording of KBS Drama Super Junior’s Miracle, MC Park Kyunglim asked the new member Yesung what he’s busy with recently “I’ve been so busy practising for my musical.”

Leeteuk was upset when he wasn’t selected after the musical audition. “I went to the musical audition wanting to do well~ but the interviewer asked me to perform Jazz and i have no idea how to so i said ‘I cannot do Jazz but i can do locking’ and i failed.”

Leeteuk wasn’t embarrassed even after all the mocking by members, showing his passion for musicals he said “anytime as long as there is a chance i will want to take part in musicals”

The full story of Leeteuk’s failed musical audition will be revealed this saturday at 8pm on KBS Drama Super Junior’s Miracle.

I looked at photos..starting from when I debuted in 2005..

[News] SJ Leeteuk, Shindong, Eunhyuk are MC a new show called : “Lord of the Rings (반지의 제왕).”


Super Junior Leeteuk, Eunhyuk, Shindong will be MCs for a new show of MBC Every1 called “The king of ring”. “The king of piano” Leeteuk, “The king of quickstep” Eunhyuk and “The king of eating” Shindong will find the king of the other fields in the showbiz.

In the show “The king of ring”, 3 MCs will recommend celebrities whom they believe that having special skills in certain things and those celebrities will have the chance to challenge themselves to become “The king”. If they can go through the final mission, they will get a ring of the king, otherwise, they will get a punishment with the MC that had recommended them.

Shindong recommended gagwoman Kim Shinyoung as “The king of shoulder throw”. Shindong & Kim Shinyoung who put on a judo uniform had performed a parody of Lee Hyori’s “U-go-girl” called “Judo-girl”. After that, she got the mission to throw a 20kg rice bag over the shoulder. Receiving “pork hock” cheer from Shindong, she had made a throw shoulder competition with 2AM.

Leeteuk recommend that actor Uhm Taewoong from MBC drama “Queen Seondeok” is “The king of hit/shoot”, Uhm Taewoong can throw tissue to the recycle bin accurately as well as kick the ball to the target. He also had a wonderful performance in the survival game of hitting the target without wearing shoes.

Eunhyuk chose Sungmin as “The king of nunchuck”. Sungmin had used his nunchuck to perform the way of knocking down a target accurately by hitting a balloon which was glued on the wall as well as show his skill of using a stick as a weapon. Besides, Heechul who is “The king of made-up diary”, Hankyung “The king of opening the bottle” and Yesung “The king of selca” will made surprising appearance.

f(x) was on Kbs cool FM‘super junior kiss the radio ’ yesterday, the 7th, their first radio show.

[news] Leeteuk is a “Gamer”


A recent survey was taken about the upcoming movie “Gamer” which is to be released in September. People were asked to pick a celebrity that they would like to be in control of within the game. The ranking placed Big Bang’s G Dragon as first (47%).

2nd place was 2PM’s Nichkhun (36%) as Shinee’s Minho placed 3rd (10%). At last was Super Junior’s leader Lee Teuk (7%) placing 4th.

*The movie “Gamer” features Gerard Butler (from 300 & The Ugly Truth) as he plays the character of a virtual reality game. The movie is about a newly invented virtual reality game where the player has full control over their characters and the characters speak to them. The truth behind the game is that the characters are in fact real life people put into those dangerous situations and die if the player loses.

[news] Leeteuk is "bomb-shell idol" & Kangin is "idol of general knowledge" + Leeteuk ♥'s Lee Sooman


On the 1st epsidoe of KBS drama channel "Human network - Super Junior's miracle" which will be aired at 8.00PM on September 5th, Super Junior's members will have to take a quiz called "Idol of general knowledge - Umbrella quiz" to test their quality to be the MCs. The member who is ranked #1 will be receive "Idol of general knowledge" award and the one who is ranked at last will be called "bomb-shell idol".

"Umbrella quiz" contains questions about present events, history and common knowledge. On that day, Kangin who even got the difficult question right was ranked #1 and honored as "Idol of general knowledge", after that he said to the other members "You guys dont read newspaper, do you ? I'm a person like that ! (a person who read newspaper)". On the other side, Leeteuk who couldnt even get a answer right until the end was called "bomb-shell idol" and got a banter "That person is our leader" from the other members.

Also, when MC Park Kyunglim and singer Lee Sooyoung asked Leeteuk "Who is your life's mentor/adviser ?", he had said without hesitance that person is Lee Sooman.
